![]() I can always add in non-DM stuff to help casual players if it is too hard. While 99% of my combat changes will effect default mode too, I want to balance the game around DM. Horizon was designed around Survival Mode (where you're required to eat, drink, and sleep) and Desolation Mode (drastically reduces loot available and generally makes your life harder) so the player has to stay focused and not just wander around randomly. Last but not least, a sensible Mod Manager like Mod Organizer 2 should definitely be used. ![]() For a list of mods that work and don't work well with Horizon, please refer to the Modding Horizon article. Because of that you should always place Horizon, Mods and Patches in the right places of your Load Order or you will destroy your playthrough in no time (texture flickering, CTD, broken cells, unscrappable structures, lag, etc.) and you should avoid mods that try to do some sort of overhauling themselves, sometimes even if they have an unofficial patch available. It's like 50 mods in one, however, mods can still be installed but almost always require patching. It touches just about every aspect of the game: equipment, enemies, settlements, and more. Horizon is a large balancing & overhaul mod.
